These themes are the basis of X-iles: Souls in Limbo by AB Redfearn.Danny is an ordinary Scottish boy living his life, making friends, and navigating his way through the world around him, when he realises that his experiences differ from others: the souls of the dead actively seek him out.This anthology consists of six tales tracking Danny’s experiences from his native Scotland across to his adopted country: Australia. No matter how far he travels, there is one constant in his life: these supernatural visitors will not leave him alone. Seeing things that others can’t, Danny’s young mind struggles with problems that no child should face. Constant questions as to why he should be so special; what these entities want from him; and should he tell his parents, create a lonely world.Still at a tender age, Danny’s experiences force him to make some life-altering decisions. He is determined to no longer be a passive bystander as the hunted becomes the hunter.
