Kill Me At The End

INTRODUCTION“The following story is fictional yet based on my own desire to leave this world behind. This certainly will be triggering in many ways, however, I make no apologies for it. It has been said that “People who are suicidal do not really want to die, they just want the pain to end”,While there is truth in that, there are some of us who desire both.Every individual deals with pain differently. The underlying reason for the pain differs, but everyone finds a way to manage the pain. Whether it is with pills, the bottle, sex, and other various forms of escape. We each get addicted to our chosen coping mechanism. For some, there comes a point when none of that works anymore, and they seek a permanent solution to end the pain. Those who take this route, they usually make some sort of statement with their final act. That is what this story does. There really is extraordinarily little in life that we can control. So why not make the most of the rare parts we can? KILL ME AT THE END Poem “Prepare for me an escape from life’s illusion and help me believe there is truth in the lie. Lead me to unfathomable bliss and then please help me die. Soothe the pain until it finally goes away. Then take me before dawn so that I do not need to face another day. Fill with me hope while proving it really does exist. Let your lips not only be the last but be the most beautiful ones that I have ever kissed. Be my greatest lover, but also my most faithful friend. Love me to death by killing me at the end.You are more than a lover, you are my best friend, and that is why I plead with you to kill me at the end. You are the only one who listened, and who tried to understand. So, in my final moments, please hold my hand. While others betrayed me with a kiss before walking away, stay with me on my final day.
