Noah Tucker is a small town Sheriff with a big time problem. Something is brutally attacking people in the home town he's been elected to protect. Campers and hikers are dropping like flies in the woods and he must stop the grizzly killings without getting torn apart himself. He's partnered with Josie Preston, a beautiful FBI agent out of Washington D.C, who just so happens to know her way around a firearm. Noah must fight his feelings for her, especially now that she's seeing his old friend, another Sheriff in a neighboring town. While tracking the thing responsible for the mutilations something goes terribly wrong and someone close to them becomes a victim. Everyone is scared, but it's up to Noah and his team to save the small California town.
