'Darkly nostalgic' and 'wonderfully creepy' The stuff for the ritual set in the middle of their little circle. It was a clear crisp night about fifty degrees. It was the kind of autumn night that was good for sleeping. The full moon was in the southeast sky. It was brilliant and huge and brought its best for this night. Tonight's moon wasn't exaggerated with the spectacle of a constant veil of anthropomorphic clouds dancing past it. Tonight's moon fit perfectly against the background of complete blackness. They sat on the ground using its presence, not only to give them visibility, but to provide energy to transform Danny into a monster.
