About the Author

Silvana studied art since a very young age, starting with oil paintings at a French art school that her grandmother took her to when they lived in Manaus, Brazil in the 70s. Silvana loves to draw, paint, and take photos, both in front of and behind the camera. Silvana is the founder of The Alternative Theatre in Manhattan, and co-founder of the Boomtown Players Improv. She has also written and directed the Sylvia's Baklava Movie Collection, under the pen name of the Baklava Fairy. Silvana's voice can be heard on the dvd game of Spiderman 3, and for the Palm Central commercial, many KiTtYkAt songs, as well as numerous books on tape projects. She currently lives in Los Angeles near the beach, with her boyfriend John and several stuffed bears, angels and an owl.
