Shelter Cove was a town with a bad reputation. Bad things happened here for no apparent reason. The town just had bad luck. That would be enough to entice some to move, but not Alicia Bryant. Alicia knew bad things tended to occur more frequently in Shelter Cove, but this is not why she wanted to move. The town was just too boring for her. Alicia wanted adventure and excitement. Something only a man could provide. One night at a local tavern she met a good-looking man and believed her life was going to change forever. This man was rich and could provide for her and give her the life she always wanted. Shelter Cove had other plans. Would Alicia finally get out of Shelter Cove or would the town shatter her dreams before they were realized. One thing was for certain. One way or another her life was going to change forever.
