Crossed Stone: A journey through time

A drama unfolds in ancient Jerusalem. A lone man needs to be delivered safely to a distant location in the aftermath of the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. A sad-looking man described as crucial to the future of humankind. Jakob and his team of soldiers face deadly obstacles on land and on sea, to give effect to their task. The handover turns deadly when they run into enemy forces in an underground maze. Nicky Lloyd finds himself unravelling events around a World War II warship that sank off the coast of South Africa. Nicky patiently works his case, using the little information he acquires to make progress.He retrieves a gold cross from a ruthless band of men and solves his first case. Or so he thought. Soon after, he is sucked into a violent sequence of events that originated in Jerusalem two millenniums earlier.In a careless moment, he falls into the hands of a sinister group. Yet, managed to escape. Even though his getaway effort leads down a pitch-black tunnel. Hours later he finds light, and uncovers a deadly device locked away for the past seventy years. A device with the potential to create global hardship on a massive scale. His pursuers arrive soon after and start to deal with the thorn in their side.Nicky’s find leads to pain and hardship. He keeps quiet and hopes for the best. It is not certain at all that he will live to see the light of day again. Inexplicable encounters open up a world that tests his beliefs, challenging the convention in which Nicky grew up. But giving up is not in his nature. He forges ahead. Evil cannot be allowed to triumph over good, even though the odds are stacked impossibly high.
