He was also a magistrate judge for Mercer County, West Virginia (1977-1981). He spent the last years of his life writing mystery and horror novels at his home in Kegley, West Virginia.Born in Princeton, West Virginia Pedneau resided in the area until his death.Aside from writing novels he enjoyed playing music with local bands such as the Melody Makers and the Red Coats.As of August, 2012 Crossroad Press has taken on the task of publishing Dave Pedneau's books in e-book format.
