Unauthorized wizards are being imprisoned in the Red Kingdom. Fifteen-year-old Wayden has one living in his mind. Fifteen years ago, in a bid to strengthen his power, the Dracon slayed his finest wizards in an attempt to steal their souls and magical abilities. But the effort failed, and the souls scattered across the world entering into the minds of infants. These children, now grown, are compelled into action, when it becomes clear the Dracon will make a second attempt to seize their abilities. With little knowledge of what is transpiring, and aware only of a binding magic that connects them, they must fight the Dracon and ward off the emergence of an even darker evil.
