About the Author

Thomas Olde Heuvelt nació en Nimega, Países Bajos, en 1983. Estudió Filología Inglesa y Literatura Norteamericana en la Universidad Radboud y en la Universidad de Ottawa. Entre otros reconocimientos, ha ganado el premio Hugo a mejor novela corta, se le ha galardonado con el Harland en tres ocasiones y se lo ha nominado a un World Fantasy Award. En 2013 publicó HEX (Nocturna, 2020) en neerlandés y posteriormente lo reescribió en inglés cambiando el escenario y el desenlace de la historia, con lo que obtuvo un éxito global: además de convertirse en un superventas tanto en Europa como en Estados Unidos, la novela se ha publicado en una veintena de idiomas y Warner Bros. ha comprado sus derechos televisivos y cinematográficos. Con su nueva novela, Eco (Nocturna, 2023), ha conseguido otro éxito de ventas y el aplauso de la crítica.
