Roadside

Johnny Stryker was a rock and roll misfit, fronting his band Johnny and the Roadside Devils at the height of the 1950’s rock and roll explosion. But in the summer of 1959 he found himself sitting alone one night in an empty studio listening to his masterpiece, The Devils Season, battling his demons and hanging on for dear life. He bowed out of the music scene soon after and joined the where are they now club. Then, twenty years later in 1979, a kid with a guitar on his back and no future and a love of Johnny’s old band, shows up at Johnny’s roadside business of selling useless junk. The two become friends and Johnny is more than happy to tell the kid stories of the glory days of rock and roll. But the demons are still lurking inside Johnny, screaming to get out and take him back into hell. It's only rock and roll daddy 0.
