Things Unburied: Three Short Stories of the Eerie and Uncanny

In her room, a young woman prepares to conduct a forbidden ritual under cover of darkness... A kind bus driver picks up a young passenger who's late getting home... Two centuries earlier and an ocean away, a young man can't shake the feeling his departed bride has something to tell him... Things Unburied includes three works of short fiction dealing with the spaces between life and death, those who cross between and what happens when we're not ready to move on. Clocking in at just over 5,400 words, this collection is the debut self-published collection from Edmonton-based writer Caitlin Fortier, and features three stories created initially for a daily October writing challenge. This mini-collection includes the short story, Bones, which was previously featured on horror podcast Drunk in a Graveyard. These stories and more are also included in the longer collection "Dead Man's Candle"
