Bitter Waters

Bitter Waters

When art gallery owner, Madison Andrews, wades into Lake Michigan to determine the cause of a dog's bizarre behavior, she experiences a frightening black out that makes her question her sanity. Still grieving after the death of her husband, nine months earlier, Madison decides to seek therapy. The mystery deepens, and takes a turn for the worse when Madison experiences more strange symptoms when she returns to the beach to do her art work. Is there something toxic in the lake, or is Madison experiencing a severe psychological shutdown out of grief? Collin Richardson, Madison's therapist, believes the key to understanding her condition lies in her connection to her grandfather's history. But as the weeks wear on in therapy, Madison has another episode that puts her in the hospital fighting for her life.
