Varujan is anxious to meet Nicoleta since her parents are voinicos (people who have kept from turning into vampires after being bitten by one). By birth, a voinico's child becomes a vânător (a vampire hunter). Varujan knows that the voinico’s daughter can't outrun her destiny and has anticipated that she would eventually come to Romania. He has been looking forward to killing her. With his vampire companion, Antanasia, Varujan seems unstoppable.Is Nicoleta ready to face Varujan and Antanasia?
