Black Forest was only Will's home for a few years. He hadn't thought about the place in decades. The lawyer's call changed that. He was about to inherit a small patch of that forest. All Will had to do was claim it, sell it, and solve his money problems. It seemed too good to be true. It was. Soon Will's childhood fear of the monsters that lurk in the dark forest would be replaced by a chorus of fully mature terrors, not least of which was a growing suspicion he might be going mad. At the heart of it all was the mysterious, alluring Lia. She seemed like a source of hope, or possibly the instrument of his final destruction. Whatever the result, Will knew it would all be over in two weeks and he knew it would be a wild ride.
