Answering the frantic knocking on the church door, Sister Mary Nichols finds a disheveled, dirty young girl with a scared look on her face standing at the threshold dressed in tattered rags and barefooted. Still, any misgivings she may have experienced, there was an instant bond between the nun and the nameless newcomer that could not be explained, a bond that reached beyond the present into the far distant past, a bond that called Sister Mary to action as dead bodies began to pile up and bloody signals to appear. A bond that could lead to the death of the Catholic nun and the homeless girl she called….Rose.
