Bethany looked around the town and threw her arms out in front of her. The roots shot through the road and started entwining themselves through the buildings. People were screaming and shouting. People were killed in the process but it was needed for the planet to heal. She heard sirens and knew that the police were coming for her. As the police cars approached, they started shouting. The roots snaked around her until it was her armor even her face was covered when she looked at the police.
