In the last year of the Spanish Inquisition, two teenagers share an innocent kiss, and then are swept up in the madness until she is burned at the stake and he is boiled in acid. Two hundred years later, they find themselves in high school, and without any knowledge of their past, share and innocent kiss once more. It brings back the nightmares, and once more they must fight for their lives, but this time, they might have a chance.

J.R. Gonzalez was born and raised in Southern California and likes to tell his readers to "Sleep with the lights on!" and to "Blame me for the nightmares!" because he likes scaring people, and spends hours watching people to study them and use what he learns for his characters, to make them real.
