Disturbed by terrifying visions of other worldly proportions, a young nun named Bethany sets out to give a series of stark warnings to the living, warnings to change from their evil ways or else face a world of torment and sorrow on the lower astral plains in the next life. But not all are appreciative of her warnings and predictions, and finally, the last person that she warns murders her in order to silence her voice, but fails to waver the tidal wave of darkness to come.Due to a cover up of the details of the last few months of Bethany's life by the convent, her two sisters, Samantha and Maria, seek out the guidance of a reviled medium, Jacqueline Taylor-Hulme who lives in obscurity in a God fearing village on Dartmoor. Out of desperation to know the truth they begin a series of terrifying seances where they learn that Bethany is trapped on the other side, and tormented by malevolent nebulous evil forces. But the only way that Bethany the murdered nun can go to her peace is by revealing to all present her account of the visions of hell, and in order to do this they all have to resist an array of wraiths and phantoms, and pray that as the seances degenerate into an ever deepening cyclone of terror, that they too are not plunged into the ephereal realms that comprise the visions of hell!!
