The Jetty

Michael and Kathy take their budding romance to their favorite island getaway on the Texas gulf coast, where they meet a very sophisticated and attractive couple, Jack and Vivian Leffler. While the Lefflers attempt to court the younger couple with their worldliness, mysterious events make Michael suspicious. Kathy, though, is drawn to the older couple, especially to Jack. Michael finds himself the prey of supernatural phenomenon. Who are Jack and Vivian? Why are they obsessed with the 1920s, and what is the source of their apparent wealth? More importantly, will Michael and Kathy's love survive this strange encounter? As the story reaches its climax on the jagged rocks of the jetty, the question becomes, will they survive at all. Prolific author Jay Brandon collaborates with publisher Joe Labatt on a completely different type of novel of romantic, supernatural suspense. "In their blood-chilling debut, Brandon and Labatt transform the sunny Texas coast into a dark spectral landscape as dangerous as an approaching storm. THE JETTY is a taut supernatural thriller in which no one is safe, everyone has secrets, and the ghosts of the past are all too real." -- Riordan, author of the Percy Jackson series
