Coffin Street is a 5,556 word short horror story. Ellie, a flight attendant, desperately needs to find an apartment. She is short on time and money. She finds a first floor listing in an unfamiliar neighborhood, but when she sees how run down the house is, she nearly drives away. Running out of options, she takes a look inside. The apartment is too good to be true; lavishly updated and cheap rent. Soon after moving in, a disturbance takes place in the apartment above her. After doubt is cast upon her experience, Ellie finds herself going up to the second floor to learn the truth and finds out what a mistake she has made.
