Torrent is a lilitu, the creature that vampire myths are based on. A lilitu Council representative, Reid, saves Sean before he's kidnapped by a suspicious company, Spiros Inc. When Sean's girlfriend is taken to lure him to them, he risks everything to find her, even if it puts him and his new associate in death’s clutches.Their stories soon spiral into a hunt for survival, an excursion into the darkness of the human and monstrous psyches inside of all of us. Torrent, Eileen, and Sean will battle scores of lilitu henchmen, monsters only dreamed about in nightmares, and uncover what it means to truly live.

About the Author

Katherine Silva has been writing fiction and poetry for many years. She is very passionate about writing and spends much of her time studying other author's techniques and style. Some of her favorite activities aside from writing are enjoying a great cup of coffee, watching classic films, and always finding new music to be inspired by. Currently, she resides in Rockland, Maine working on the rest of the books in "The Monstrum Chronicles" as well as other projects.
