Rednecks of the Dead

Based on a soon to be true story Doc's reached the end of his endurance. Still mourning the loss of his wife and his world, the forty-something former college professor has fought to keep his daughter safe in a zombie-infested world. His vicious and troublemaking half brother Tit makes a terrifying announcement and claims sixteen-year-old Kate for his own, an announcement that leaves Doc struggling to survive in "the pit," where those who anger Tree fight for survival against captured zombies. If Doc's to save Kate, he's going to have to toughen up and form alliances within the group. And with a zombie herd closing in on the Rednecks of the Dead, he's going to have to act fast, or risk losing the one person he still holds dear.

About the Author

Nick Nichols is a former US Marine and amateur disaster prepper. He grew up near the tracks and town dumps of Winona, Minnesota, and has a degree in carpentry, a fierce independent streak, and a passion for sustainable living. If the dead walk, he's ready for them.Currently employed by La Crosse County in southwest Wisconsin, Nick lives on a solar-powered farm with his wife, four kids, two cats, and ten laying hens. In addition to Rednecks of the Dead, Nick is the author of Shadowed Soul and Kingk, a young adult novel.
