Here is a book about life and death and love and hate and consequences. And despair; there is quite a bit of despair. The good news is, it’s a bit of a knee slapper! It is a picture book with rhyming verse but it's not for children, leastwise not for delicate ones. Nursery Rhymes for broken souls, that's what it is. It is full of monsters, maniacs, ladies in distress, ladies kicking ass, children in peril, murder and suicide. It is chock full of humor and pathos, longing and regret, the human condition. It is deliciously morbid and absurdly obscene. It is called Miss Ella's Dollhouse, so named for the setting of these little tales of triumph and woe. I hope you will buy it. It might make you chuckle, I hope it will make you laugh out loud. It may even make you cringe or make the hair on your arm stand up. If it is not your cup of tea, I hope you will tell your weird cousin or friend about it so they might purchase it. I don't need everyone to buy it, just everyones weird cousin. If you are reading this and I happen to be your weird cousin, congratulations, you’re off the hook! Thanks for your support. Love and mayhem, L.T. Duffy
