The story of a child who stumbles upon a portal. He enters the mesmerizing world of the Water Spirits where everything is beautiful and magical, but soon he finds out that things are not as they seem.Although the book can be categorised as a classic-folklore type children’s book, it was not created exclusively for children. The author wrote the story believing that fairytales are not necessarily “kid’s stuff” and has something to offer everyone.It is a tale rather dark, like the classic tales of Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen and folklore tales. The illustrations accompany and enhance this vibe. The book contains four big full-page illustrations, made exclusively in pencil and seven small ones.
