One New Year’s Eve, Leigh is the only survivor of a group of friends after a horrific supernatural event is set in motion by three troubled drug pushers. It is on this night in the quiet suburban town of Cottonwood Leigh discovers a mysterious diary in the abandoned house where the incident takes place. When she is plagued by amnesia afterward, the diary becomes her stepping stone to unraveling the secrets of her troubled past, and in the process pulling away the curtain hiding the truth about the mysterious residents of Cottonwood. But she doesn’t know the diary possesses tormented souls of its own, preventing her from recognizing reality from nightmares. In this emotional rollercoaster world she can only find the truth by becoming a monster because this town holds bigger secrets than just hers.
