From the Back Cover

It's tough enough fitting into a new home and school. It's even tougher when that new home is haunted! Tallulah receives an offer of friendship from her new home's ghost, Anastasia. They start sharing messages by writing on a blackboard wall at 19 Sycamore Lane, Tallulah's ninth home in fourteen years. It's the friendship Tallulah yearns for, even if it is with a spirit from the afterlife. But not all is peaceful. There is danger lurking nearby, someone suspected of terrorizing the children who live in that house, and Tallulah has been marked as the next victim. Tallulah also discovers that not all of Anastasia's notes are friendly. The ghost is writing warnings, attempting to alert Tallulah to the peril that's growing ever closer. HiDE!--it's a warning Tallulah had better heed. But will she recognize the menace in time?
