Being careful what you wish for won't help. When seventeen-year-old Dan is told by his coworker, Mike, of an encounter with a phantom door in the woods north of town, he ignores the tale. But then Mike goes missing. Months later, Dan finds a note from Mike, pleading for help. With stories of the door and what lies behind it circulating his school, he ventures into the northern woods to rescue his colleague. In the frigid winter forest he finds the door, along with the horrible truth about those who travel inside to communicate with its dweller. This story may or may not be true. And whether you believe the narrator of this tale or not, there are things of this world you wouldn't believe to be true with any story. Not until they happen to you, of course.
