Eye of the Goddess

She fell into the job when the pirates insisted – at sword point – that she join their crew. By various means, she worked her way up to captaining a motley crew of humans, goblins, elves, and orcs. The only problem with sailing under the Jolly Roger: everyone wants her head on a platter. Having survived a naval ambush, Tara sails into the freeport of Amana for repairs. There, she and fellow pirate Ciara head out for a girls' night of men and ale, not necessarily in that order. While cavorting, they learn of an enemy possessing a fabulous jewel called the Eye of the Goddess. Unable to resist the temptation, they set off to steal it for fun and glory. Their enemy has a different idea, and their lark goes from bad to worse. Fighting for liberty, the Eye, and her place at the head of her fleet, Tara determines to prove to friend and foe alike you can't keep a good woman down – and that the legend of Tara will end with her on top.
