City in the Fire

Abi is eight months pregnant and not in a good mood. All she wants is to meet her mum for tea, but one thing after another goes wrong and before the day is over she will be running for her life while the city burns to the ground around her. There is an ancient evil lurking in the city and it's just typical that today is the day somebody decides to do something about it. First Greg being, well, Greg, and then this! It really is enough to make her want to scream.Trapped in the city, she has no choice but to look after herself and, although she can't really blame Greg for being at work rather than there with her, she finds that she does anyway. And really, why isn't he?It isn't long before things get even worse and, to top it all off, there's some kind of demon wandering around possessing people, and she might be the only one who can stop it. And if she can't, it won't just be her who will suffer. Why do things have to be so complicated!City in the Fire is a paranormal horror novella about one woman's struggle against the worst day she can imagine.
