Detective Curtain is a tortured homicide cop, solely responsible for catching and interviewing serial killers; but a new one; supernatural and born right out of hell is giving him a run for his money. Rett a killer straight from a nightmare has a list he needs to complete before he can live amongst us. Retribution handed out for disturbing his resting place; the newly built marina. The marina itself a failure, constructed on shaky ground by criminals and upper echelon thieves. Rett’s wrath focused on groups of greed driven gangsters and politicians; some who would normally be untouchable will get touched. All connected to an even bigger group of investors; responsible for the finance of the failed build of the marina. Those from the top, and right to the bottom set to become added to his list. Rett a malicious entity has a special gift; he can take over the bodies of others; used to become conduits and worn like clothing to complete his kills. It's a race for Curtain and John to find him and stop him before he can complete the murders. With help from another killer; Jason Werner a disturbed psychopath with a grudge against humanity and a new partner John that no one wants; all now added to Rett's list of targets. The three unknowingly put on the list; work together to make a connection to the kills and help seize Rett before he can complete his series.
