RISE OF THE BLY: Police Zombie Squad, Book 2

Ten years after the outbreak life in the United States had begun to return to normal. No one would ever forget the horror of the virus, particularly the Post-life Reanimated Entities, or PREs, the government’s sanitized term for “zombie” or “undead.” The remaining PRE population was locked away in detention facilities in different regions of the country. There was, however, a dark secret being kept from the public. Below the streets of New York City in the cavernous subway tunnels a PRE population was thriving. To avoid public panic and economic catastrophe, a small NYPD squad was formed – the Zombie Squad. The squad expertly carried out its mission of eradicating the PREs from the tunnels, but as the operation was winding down, something went horribly wrong and the squad lost one of its members. With the element of secrecy lost the NYPD mobilized all its forces to stamp out the PRE threat, but before their operation could begin, the PRE horded marched out of the tunnels and into the sea. Six months passed with no trace of the PREs. The experts say they are gone – or are they?
