Romany Curses is a Romantic thriller, covering a period of 50 post war years. Commencing in 1942 with the mass movement of refugees before the Teutonic Armies, it travels with the Romany’s to Southern Ireland and then to Norfolk in the East of England. Here they settle and the story really takes off when Kizzy-Moon, a gypsy prin-cess is seduced by the son of a member of the local nobility. It is a book of contrasts moving from the soft green English countryside to the corridors of power and depravity. Not a book for your maiden aunt, nor for those of a nervous disposition as there is a liberal sprinkling of the supernatural within the pages. The final chapter is a dish best served cold… vengeance, although in this version the heat is deadly!
