The Legend of the Honey Island Swamp Monster is that a circus train crashed in the bayous of Louisiana and the chimpanzees escaped. They later mated with the local alligators. The Cajuns call this creature the Tainted Keitre.Amina McDonough, a life-long resident of New Orleans doesn’t give much credence to legends. She’s more interested in her best friend’s brother, Anton Benoit who happens to be a local cop. He also happens to have a girlfriend and has always treated her as if she were also his sister. When someone starts to murder people, Anton investigates the deaths. He’s becomes convinced the killer may not be human and may also be on a quest to make Amina the next victim.
