Dead Radio is a short story that involves its protagonist, Ben Butler, in a mystery that soon turns into an obsession. Listening to the radio on his way back from work one night, he lands on a station that plays music that cannot possibly have been recorded by the singers who perform that music--they died before the songs were composed. His attempts to solve this mystery take him and his wife Meghan into a realm that challenges everything they have assumed about the boundaries between life and death. Ben starts to question his own sanity, and his quest to make sense of what happens takes him—and the reader—into the realm of pure horror.
