Logjam at the Gates of Heaven: Book One / The Siddhana Chronic...

LOGJAM AT THE GATES OF HEAVEN is book one of The Siddhana Chronicles.Llewellyn Warlow, Llew, to his friends, was offered the rebirth of his choice if he would join Mara, Queen of the Underworld, in her invasion of the fourth realm which she calls the slave realm but which proves to be the human realm. As punishment when he declines, she inflicts upon him a near-fatal brain haemorrhage. In the midst of it Llew recalls a meditation technique he learned thirty years earlier, and not only survives but discovers he now has sporadic ASP, astral sensory perception. This leads to the eventual discovery and return to life, of the most advanced yogi who ever lived, The Siddha, known to Llew as Siddhu and sworn enemy of Mara. Llew learns that Queen Mara’s mission is to conquer and rule both Earth and Heaven on behalf of the Hell Realms. Under her patient attack, the cycle of reincarnation is breaking down and Heaven discovers they have a problem which only The Siddha can solve. Trouble is, Heaven banished his powers 500 years ago. Meet also the seductress Magella, Mara’s earthly avatar, until she is freed by Siddhu and Llew. Learn their backstories and what Mara is doing with a former sheep station in outback Australia. This time her plan is truly diabolical and close to launch. The Siddhana Chronicles relate the story of three immortals, Mara, Magella and Siddhu, whose love/hate triangle over millennia has led to the greatest crisis Heaven and humanity have ever faced, leaving millions of worthy souls missing out on their proper rebirth, logjammed outside the Pearly Gates, with no one to process them in the afterlife. Unfortunately Mara is filling the vacuum with disembodied souls of her own. Adapted from the Tibetan Buddhist teaching of the Six Realms of Existence, the author has risked terrible karma with this unauthorised account of what is really going on in the astral realms, within a mind-expanding story of angst and adventure.

About the Author

Born in Adelaide, Australia. Studied psychology and philosophy during which time I became interested in Buddhism. This led to several Tibetan and Vipassana Buddhist meditation retreats and the genesis of a successful like-minded community which I have promised not to name; where we generate our own electricity, (solar and micro-hydro), have our own gravity-fed spring water and actively pursue fulfilling personal, professional and community lives. In that time I have hand-built my own home, helped others with theirs and raised three children while pursuing the creative life. In 2005 I experienced a cerebral haemorrhage which I survived using meditation in the manner outlined in this book. It began this series of books which has consumed my creative attention since. I have been blessed to be an author in the tech-age, which has allowed me to write full-time on my laptop and then self-publish via wireless broadband from my off-the grid home deep in the sub-tropical forest. Thank you to those who put together the technology for that to happen and I hope you enjoy what I did with my share of the benefit.
