About the Author

H. P. Lovecraft (1890-1937) was born in Providence, Rhode Island, where he lived most of his life. His relatively small corpus of work--three short novels and about sixty short stories--has nevertheless exercised a broad influence on subsequent writing in the field. In fact, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential horror writers of the twentieth century.Robertson Dean has played leading roles on and off Broadway and at dozens of regional theaters throughout the country. He has a BA from Tufts University and an MFA from Yale. His audiobook narration has garnered numerous AudioFile Earphones Awards. He now lives in Los Angeles, where he works in film and television in addition to narrating.Simon Vance is an award-winning actor and an AudioFile Golden Voice with over forty Earphones Awards. He has won thirteen prestigious Audie Awards and was Booklist's very first Voice of Choice in 2008.
