A forlorn artist rots away in his lonely apartment, longing for a sense of purpose. The only light he finds in his life resides in the eyes of a beautiful young woman he has yet to speak to. His only friend, a talking jackalope mask whose origins he is still uncertain of. The mask offers him encouraging words mired in half-truths and vagaries. As his nightmares and hallucinations become less distinguishable from reality, he begins to hear another voice – one not so kind.
