In theatre there is something called “the fourth wall”. In the classic box stage setting there are solid walls at right and left. There is a wall up stage facing the audience directly and a fourth invisible wall between the reality of the actor’s world and the reality of the audience. If you look for it, the fourth wall can be found everywhere; between safety and chaos, reality and fantasy, sanity and madness. All you need to do is step sideways at the wrong moment and you’re through. On the other side of that wall, all things are possible and a way home is not always guaranteed.
