About the Author

I was born in Montana. Stories passed down from my father to me were incidents of dangerous predator confrontations. They happened when my grandfather pioneered in Montana in the late 19th century. It was scary stuff to a young boy. I felt the stories needed to be recorded for future generations. A Land Of Predators evolved into a novel about the settling of Montana, and uses those true stories as a base to build on. Cat's Journey is a spin off where I gave my imagination a little more leeway.
