“Francis Thompson and the Ripper Paradox” is a fantasy/horror novel that depicts a Ripper suspect as the Antichrist. Richard Patterson (ripperson?) is an Australian writer. Patterson has traveled the world researching the Ripper crimes and the life of Francis Thompson. He has spoken as delegate on the topic at international crime conferences and has conducted tours of the Ripper murder sites in London's East End. Patterson's horror novel is based on his 1997 short non-fiction true-crime book, the first to name Francis Thompson as a suspect for the Ripper murders.
