Catherine Morland---nobody's picture of the heroine of a novel---is a sheltered young lady who is mad for gothic novels, especially ones with vampires. As the danger in Bath grows, the Tilneys extend Catherine an invitation to join them at their estate, the ancient Northanger Abbey. There she will face unexpected dangers and discover hidden strengths. But will Catherine's adventure end in matrimony or in bloodshed? The Vampire of Northanger is a funny, violent romp through a supernatural England, inspired by Jane Austen's classic novel, Northanger Abbey.

About the Author

Bryce Anderson, part man, part machine, all...ways typing stuff down on a computer. He mostly writes sci-fi and fantasy, but sometimes branches out into political rants, ransom notes, and passive-aggressive post-its. His first book, written at the age of six, told the story of an unspecified number of time traveling dinosaurs. For reasons which thirty-eight-year-old Bryce can't fully comprehend, six-year-old Bryce decided that the T. Rex was some kinda robot. When the dinosaurs emerged from their time travel vortex, fighter jets shot at them! That was the whole plot, and as far as Bryce was concerned, that was as much plot as it needed. Later books turned out better. He hopes. In an alternate dimension, Bryce rules over the five lunar colonies with an iron fist. In this one, he lives in Salt Lake City.
