Mad! Mad, they call me! But no, I’m not the one who’s mad. I found it to not just be the word, but the way they said it to be so demeaning. Like, all it had been was a few people and an animal… or two. But, that’s okay now because the ones who started their false allegations are all gone. Yep, I said it. Gone! Dead! No longer here to say I am such a thing! And even if they were still here, they wouldn’t want to call me mad or insane, but be begging for mercy.
