About the Author

Madalain Ackley found the world of the paranormal and supernatural through television shows like Nightstalker and X-Files. Other influences include shows like CSI, Charmed, and Criminal Minds. With those influences in mind and a love of the works of Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan and Gena Showalter, a love of the darkness and magic in the modern world was assured. Ever since she was a teenager there was a love of writing, although she credits NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) for giving her the push needed to complete a novel and take it to the next step. She currently lives in Virginia with her husband and the Diva of the house, the cat Bastet.
