But once there he finds himself at a nexus of parallel worlds, charged by the angel Pelagion to undertake an epic quest in astral lands on behalf of the spiritual hierarchy. The ultimate goal is to find and offer redemption to no less than Lucifer himself, thus healing the world of its ills. The pair travel through many strange and diverse landscapes that mirror their own inner minds, making allies but also dark enemies intent on preventing them reaching their goal. Their many struggles finally culminate in the huge, cosmic and decisive Battle of Gnipaheden. This is a classic, exciting adventure story for all ages of the battle between Light and Dark, told with unique imagination and acute historical detail.
