But there was a price to pay…In order to save his father’s life, Sam had to make a pact with Demälikar. One day the evil sorcerer would call upon Sam to do him a favor. Sam has no idea what that favor might be, but he knows one thing for sure: it won’t be good.Now attending his second year at the Academy, Sam continues his warrior training, while also dabbling in Mage Skills and the Holy Arts. As if that isn’t enough to keep him busy, he also finds himself struggling with his feelings for two different girls and trying to avoid the class bully, Cully Duke. It doesn’t help that he must endure his best friend Curtis’s musical night farts, too.Demälikar intends to raise an army of the undead in order to wreak havoc on the world and calls upon Sam to do him the favor he is owed. Sam must decide whether to keep his promise or to risk his father’s life. And he will also have to deal with his greatest fear of all: growing up!
