Father Joe Ensign has a secret he’s afraid to reveal even in confession. Ania Dudak, a holocaust survivor, longs to forget her tragic past. They and eight other tourists arrive on Redemption Island, unsure of what drew them to such a remote location. Much to their chagrin, they are cut off from TV, radio and the internet. For the first time in many years, they are forced to adjust to a slower pace of life. Cut off from the outside world, the group, as a whole and individually, are forced to confront their confusion and deep seated discontent. The question is will they accept the happiness offered to them, or carry on with the life they’ve always known?
