This poem although not traditionally written, attempts to connect to the reader on a more intimate level. This poem's essence points towards the internalization of day-to-day struggles, whether they be physical or spiritual, and how we come to terms and deal with them as humans. I hope that everyone who reads this is able to relate to it in their own way. As I have put the essence of my being into this work, I believe that this depicts issues that all of us not only face together, but also battle alone in our own heads. When we depart from this life we hopefully carry none of our mortal baggage into the eternal, so why carry that baggage at all? That is up to you to decide for yourself.
