The mysterious death of a young student unites the eminent universities of Oxford and Harvard together in fear. A second fatality, across the Atlantic, brings the FBI into an investigation that spans three continents.Wayward lecturer Eddie Jansen and his favourite students begin to realise that the deaths are a result of their research trip to Jerusalem, where they meddled in an ancient ritual designed to open a gate to the underworld.
