Feeding the Twins

From the moment of their birth The Twins were ravenous. They must be fed. Born of a single seed no bigger than the freckle on your chin, they grow to claim their legacy, their power. It's a tale strips away the niceties in Myth and Meme, Culture and Consequence, down to the common horror we must learn to love. Feed them!

From the Back Cover

"Eerie and deceptively lyrical, this speculative horror parable about the perils of hungering for thorny freedom vs. submission to cosseting comfort is both provocative and seductive, unfolding in a densely-written series of dream-like vignettes that loop and swirl like tidal water laced with glittering shards of glass." Maitland McDonagh, renowned US film critic, publisher of 120 Days Books for Riverdale Avenue Books, & author specialising in horror & erotica.Beth Porter's novella is truly horrible--which I mean as high praise...Howard Schuman, award-winning dramatist and critic"Fabulous writing, so unusually rich and convoluted. I loved it... the rich reverberative resonance of the writing." Rob Walker, Theatre and film director "Very thought provoking... Would love to read more of your work." John Warrington, Video writer/director"Feeding the Twins is a rich, creepy, unsettling visionary fable."Critic, author and broadcaster, Kim Newman is lauded as the world's foremost expert on fantasy and horror cinema. His Video Dungeon column appears in Empire magazine. He has won the 1989 Bram Stoker Award, the 1994 International Horror Guild Award, and the 1990 BSFA award, and sometimes writes as Jack Yeovil.
